I have experienced some positive changes during those two years. Sometimes I was amazed when I looked at photos of myself from the past and the present. It's not just my appearance that has changed, but also my innerself. I've matured a lot, and now I can live more confidently and independently. There are many unforgettable experiences, such as having lunch with teachers around a large round table in a dumpling restaurant, playing frisbee with teachers and classmates, and having unforgettable English lessons, all of which have become fond memories for me. The programme has made me a confident, independent, and professional person.

I was fortunate enough to fulfill my dreams and expectations in Shanghai. Here I received guidance from teachers and made good friends in this programme that lives up to the philosophy behind its name. It also made me realize that a person's success and excellence is not only determined by their academic performance, but also by their learning and overall qualities. The teachers taught us soft skills, technical skills and ways to learn efficiently.  I am very grateful to all my teachers. I always keep in mind one piece of advice from them: "If you stick to where you want to go, one day you will get there." Finally, a word to my young alumni: Don’t complain. Be independent and you are the best!

By chance, I joined the Jiahe Vocational Training and Mentoring Programme, where I learned vocational skills and life skills that would serve me throughout my life and give me the confidence to be self-sufficient wherever I am. I am very grateful to Shanghai K Charitable Foundation, Sir Michael Kadoorie and other caring people for supporting us, for caring about this programme, and for allowing me to learn skills and change my life. I will use the love I have received to give back to society and uphold the concept of "helping others help themselves" to help more people and pass on this love. I will work positively with a positive attitude, strive to improve my own life, and always keep kindness in my heart

Thank you so much to the opportunity joining Jiahe vocational training and mentoring programme. It's like a big happy family where I have gained survival skills and like-minded classmates and loving teachers. Now I have joined the hotel after graduation and gotten along very well with my colleagues. My skills are constantly improving at work, and I will continue to improve myself. In the future, I will also make contribution to the society and pass on the love.

I am grateful for the help I have received from this programme. Jiahe is not only a place to learn skills, but also a warm home for me. Most importantly, it has given me with a career plan and paved the way for my career. I will miss those happy times at Jiahe, and I will always remember this programme.
